About Me

Hello, my name is Rachel, I build on your child’s strengths to foster resiliency, well-being and academic success.

I help children and young people with academics and well-being challenges by building resilience and using effective learning strategies through a hub of services, information and resources.

I have a particular interest in student well-being and self-esteem, exam access arrangements, Down’s Syndrome, and neurodiversity including dyslexia, language & literacy, autism and ADHD.

Inspired by my experiences growing up with a brother with Down’s Syndrome, I am motivated and determined to make schools and society more inclusive.

My qualifications

I have a MEd in Social, Emotional, and Behavioural Difficulties and an MSc in Psychology.

I am qualified in educational testing and individual access arrangements assessment, and on the Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU) with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

I also have additional qualifications in Dyslexia, Leadership, Interventions, Neurodevelopmental Approaches to Learning Difficulties, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
